Win The Take and Black Gunn on Blu-Ray!

The Take stars Billy Dee Williams, better known as the lovable, double crossing con man Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (due for release this December, Williams’s actual name is William December Williams Jr).

In The Take Williams plays Terry Sneed a well-known cop brought in by police chief Ray Berrigan (Eddie Albert) to quell a crime wave that has gripped Paloma, New Mexico.

Black Gunn is a 1972 classic starring Jim Brown (He Got Game, I’m Gonna Git You Sucka), Brenda Sykes (Mandingo, Cleopatra Jones), Oscar® winner Martin Landau (Best Supporting Actor, Ed Wood), Luciana Paluzzi (Thunderball), Bernie Casey (Brian’s Song) and Bruce Glover (Ghost World, Diamonds Are Forever) with a cameo by pro US football star Vida Blue.

Jim Brown as nightclub owner Gunn tries to protect his politically radical brother Scotty from mobsters and the police after a group of revolutionaries rob a Mafia-run gambling operation. After Scotty is violently murdered, Gunn hits the streets looking for revenge.

Billy Dee Williams attended New York City's LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, the same school attended by Angelo, Coco and Bruno in Fame. Focusing on visual arts he was awarded the prestigious Hallgarten Award Scholarship to continue studying at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Williams only turned to acting in the 1960s to earn money to buy paint and canvas.

Before turning to acting, Jim Brown was a professional American football player from 1957 through to 1965. He played fullback in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns. Brown's record of scoring 100 touchdowns in only 93 games stood for over 40 years. Brown is the only rusher in NFL history to average over 100 yards per game for a career. In 2002, he was named by The Sporting News as the greatest professional football player ever.
